Punda District

Willemstad, capital of the Netherlands Antilles, is located in the southwest of the island of Curaçao consists of two parts: Punda and Otrobanda. Queen Emma's Bridge, one of a kind was built in 1888; this floating pedestrian bridge connects the districts of Punda and Otrobanda. Nicknamed the Swinging Old Lady, it swivels to allow boats into the port. Punda means ‘Point’ and Otrobanda means ‘The other side’ due to its location on the opposite side of the water. In full swing, this neighborhood with beautifully decorated alleys has a vibrant gastronomic and nightlife scene. Old houses have been restored and converted into cool bars and restaurants.

Coral Estate

Coral Estate is located in the southwest of the island, on the south road that connects this part of the island with towns in the south. The area is called Bandabou, with unspoiled beaches, hidden coves, and impressive nature reserves that are well worth a visit. Kenepa Grandi and Kenepa Chiki are two of the most well-known beaches in the Westpunt area. Since they are so stunning, these beaches are very popular with the locals.
